收录了8首马木尔创作的冬不拉曲，采用分轨录音，以完全不同于传统的演奏风格和手法，对冬不拉的表现力做出新的探索。

The 8 tracks are composed by Mamer. He played the Dombra with a new way to explore the expressive force of this traditional instrument.

Mamer is an excellent figure in Chinese contemporary music landscape. Rooted in the fertile soil of national music, he has presented the audience plenty of modern music full of his own style.

Mamer went to Beijing and founded the legendary band IZ Band in 2002. “IZ” means “footprint” in Kazak. Mamer is not only an excellent musician but also a great teacher on Dombra of many famous musicians. In the year of 2008, he gained an international reputation for his album “Eagle” released by the well-known British label Real World.

Besides IZ Band, Mamer and Zhang Dong formed another 5 bands named Bande, Kunakar, 51-Rayon, Mekrop and TAT. Though with the same members, the music style of each band can be easily distinguished from each other.
