2014年，吉田达也参加了第一届明天音乐节，演出当晚和马木尔的即兴合作，也是两位音乐家的首次碰撞，这段不到30分钟的即兴演出，让现场观众对“即兴”的认知提到了一个新的高度。《Ruins Alone: 明天废墟》中最后两段《即兴》便是当时的现场录音。
