制作人的话

这次出版的特别之处在于，它不仅仅是一张唱片，还是一次活动的完整记录。其中讲座部分的文字梳理对我们来说同样重要，再加上磁带+CD的组合，大家可以通过不同的角度来回顾这一次特别的艺术行动。

这张专辑的所有作品，都是第一次被听到，老丹和马木尔为这个项目创作了全新的作品，马木尔也由此启动了新的MASK（面具）乐队计划。

其实在现场还有一首未被收录的精彩歌曲，是五条人阿茂在讲座快结束时弹唱的《十年水流东，十年水流西》，现场的乐迷应该记忆犹新。

值得一提的还有这张唱片的音质，在刘英的打磨之下，散发出了异常夺目的光彩。相信在未来的很多年里，它会被有心的乐迷反复提及和讨论。

“老乐器、新声音”，“民间视野、专业精神” ——希望《地方、音乐与实践》能以这样的态度走遍中国的山山水水，它或许能像一本老式学术期刊一样被不断延续下去，我们会继续努力，请大家拭目以待。

Producer's Note


It is not only an album, but also a complete documentary of an event. We combine cassette and CD into one album so that one may review the unusual art project from different aspects. It also includes a precious booklet about everything said on the talks.

Each track in the album is heard for the first time. For the project, Lao Dan and Mamer created brand new works. Mamer even began a new band named Mask.
One remarkable song that didn’t be recorded is Water Flows sang by Wu Tiao Ren’s Mao Tao in the end of his talk.

Thanks to the impressive work of mixing engineer Liu Ying, the sound quality of the album turns out really spectacular.

策划人的话

《地方、音乐与实践》这个项目的缘起，是我和刘庆元的一个“合作创作”计划 —— 把音乐耕植到国内外的各种正式、非正式的艺术场景中去：从城市到乡村，从广场、书店、剧院、美术馆，到工厂、祠堂、村礼堂、晒谷场……由我来组织活动内容， 他用木刻配合宣传及生产需求，活动内容包括但不限于讲座、放映、论坛、工作坊、音乐家委约创作和现场演出、录音录像、以及未来的文献和唱片出版等等，分工合作，有始有终。

它让我们站在传统与现代的交界：一头是对古老技艺的膜拜，一头是对未来义无 反顾的探索。

有意思的是，这一切就要在顺德美食博物馆启程了。“唯美食与艺术不可辜负” —— 借用这句陈词滥调，将我们百无禁忌的杂食本性暴露无遗——食物好听、音乐好看、电影好吃——我们完全有理由放空自己的内在经验，让感官漂移。

漂移到更酷、更混沌、更深远的地方去。

About the event “ Region, Music, and Practice”

A creative collaboration of producer Tu Fei and artist Liu Qingyuan. Event organization by Tu Fei, artwork for promotion and production by Liu Qingyuan. Event programs include talks, screenings, forums, workshops, musicians' commission creation and live performance, recording, publishing, and many more.

Admiring tradition and exploring the future, the duo’s goal is to bring music to various places, from village to city, from square to factory, from bookstore to family altar, from theater to village hall, and from gallery to drying field...
