Cut that cloud in two
With a chainsaw, God!
And sacrifice your golden fleece!
Take a break and slake
Celestial thirst
With ambrosia
Brewed by the Baron
Cimitière -
Cut it!
With your cherubim
And your seraphim
With your chainsaw, God!
And condescend
To look down
And have a laugh
At the Pygmies of Paulton
You designed Yourself!
Pulsating!
And strobed by the hedge!
Shying
From the raining down
Of the translucent gliders of gauze
And their sacrificial virgin pilots!
Never to reach Arnhem!
Biting the dust
And ashes of your mines -
Golden black menhirs
Reach for the sky!

Bowed double bass, electric guitar, glockenspiel, a woman singing an Indian-style devotional song, strings, bagpipes? , a free-jazz saxophone solo and that's just the intro. Certainly the craziest thing you'll have heard in a long while. Lyrical and well up for a bout or two of furious head-banging, Dolphy Kick Bebop are difficult to pigeonhole. Their brand of mayhem is accessible and enjoyable, but impossible to dismiss as trivial or frivolous. It's as wild and edgy as they come. Mighty! martin corey
Another kickass effort from the Toronto punks, steeped in the traditions of straight edge, post-hardcore, and ’90s alternative rock. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 8, 2023
Self-described "power goth" band from Colorado goes maximalist with a strident album inspired by ’90s pop punk, emo, and alternative. Bandcamp New & Notable Aug 30, 2023
